Neighborhood for Learning
El Centrito’s Neighborhood for Learning provides family support, information and referral services. Through the Oxnard Neighborhood for Learning (NfL) and First 5 of Ventura County, services are provided to ensure that the prenatal to five-year old population and their families receive necessary support and services so that children enter school physically, mentally and socially ready for kindergarten.
What our Neighborhood for Learning can offer your family…El Centrito’s Family/Community Liaisons provide a comprehensive range of referral services for children 0-5 and their families, including:
- Case Management and Resources for Families
- Positive Parenting Workshops and Activities
- Pre and Perinatal Services
- Medical Insurance Enrollment and Education
- Dental and Vision Care
- Family and Individual Counseling
- Nutrition Information
- Resources for Children with Special Needs
Additional services may be available depending upon your needs.
